Staff Travel Beneficiary Request Form
  • Mandatory fields: Beneficiary Name, Contact Email, Flight Number, Cabin, Origin, Destination, Preferred Date and Ticket Type Priority.
  • For Business Cabin, all four ticket types must be ranked with unique priorities 1 to 4.
  • For Economy Cabin, business ticket types are disabled and the two economy types must be ranked 1 and 2.
  • Add another flight only when the traveller needs more than one requested routing entry.

Ticket type guide

ID50 – Business: Confirmed seat in Business Cabin. 50% discount on the applicable fare.

ID50 – Economy: Confirmed seat in Economy Cabin. 50% discount on the applicable fare.

ID90 – Business: Standby ticket. 90% discount. Does not guarantee a Business Cabin seat. Boarding is subject to Economy Cabin availability after all commercial passengers are accommodated in first place. After this has been confirmed, if seats are available in Business Cabin, the passenger will be upgraded. This option broadens boarding access compared to ID90 – Economy alone, but Economy accommodation always takes precedence.

ID90 – Economy: Standby ticket. 90% discount. Boarding is subject to Economy Cabin availability after all commercial passengers are accommodated.

Terms & Conditions — Staff Travel

1 Ticket Use
Booking status must be confirmed as either confirmed or standby before check-in at the relevant airport.
Beneficiaries are eligible to travel independently within their sector limits.
Staff travel tickets are non-transferable and may only be used by the person named on the ticket.
Acceptance of standby tickets will only occur after all passengers with confirmed tickets, cargo and mail have been accommodated on the flight.
All bookings are subject to cancellation in an emergency or disruption, or due to embargoes on certain flights. No liability will be accepted for any loss in such situations.
If flights are diverted, delayed or cancelled, beneficiaries will be rebooked on the next available flight. However, no Denied Boarding compensation will be provided to staff travellers.
2 No-Show Policy
Important: You must cancel any reservation before the flight's scheduled departure. Failure to travel as a confirmed passenger may result in cancellation of all subsequent flights on the itinerary.

The following no-show charges apply for ID50 tickets held but not used:

To avoid the no-show charge, the flight must be cancelled prior to departure.
There are no cancellation charges for infant tickets; applicable taxes will be refunded.
Payment of the no-show charge will result in the reinstatement of the affected sector(s).
Waivers for medical and compassionate emergencies can be requested by contacting STID50exception@etihad.ae.
3 Concessionary Tickets (Leisure Travel)
Concessionary tickets allow travel at a discounted rate for non-commercial purposes.
ID90: Standby fares. Available based on eligibility.
ID50: Confirmed fares. Bookable based on availability. Non-refundable and non-changeable within 14 days of flight departure, except for medical or compassionate emergencies and operationally approved reasons.
4 Check-In Procedures

Confirmed Tickets

All confirmed ticket holders are required to check-in online.
Firm ticket holders will be accepted for travel at check-in as long as a seat is available.
Once checked in, beneficiaries will not be offloaded or downgraded unless there is an exceptional operational imperative.

Standby Tickets — Abu Dhabi

ID90 ticket holders must check-in online. Onload notification will be sent to the registered email. Once confirmed, bags should be dropped at the self-service bag drop.

Standby Tickets — Outstations

ID90 ticket holders should check-in online. Bags can be checked in at the standby desk (or Economy counter) only once a seat has been confirmed.
